Hams will soon go to families in need thanks to Giant and Ripken's Baseball.
Both organizations donated more than 200 hams to the Maryland Food Bank Thursday. Organizers said more than 760,000 people don't know where their next meal will come from.
Last year the Maryland Food Bank served about 41 million meals to those people. Thursday's donation is part of Giant's contribution to five area "Feeding America Food Banks."
