Maryland State Police arrested a man Thursday morning after they said he stabbed his estranged wife.

Troopers responded to a home in the unit block of Fulton Ave around 12:30 a.m. after reports of a domestic incident.

When they got to the home they learned the suspect, Jeremiah William Snyder, stabbed his wife, including at least once in the head and arm. Troopers found a knife they believed was involved in the stabbing, but no Snyder.

Troopers were able to find Snyder at a home in the unit block of Maple Avenue and arrested him.

According to investigators, Snyder and the victim are separated and live in different homes. Police say Snyder forced his way into the house and confronted the victim.
