Aberdeen woman returns from a walk to find a masked man in her home

Aberdeen Police are searching for a man wanted for a home invasion Sunday, Feb.y 12. It happened on Market Street around 8:30 p.m.
 
Police say the 73-year-old woman had just returned from walking her dog to find a masked man waiting for her, inside her home.  He demanded money, pushed her to the ground, and took off with other items from inside the home.
 
Officers canvassed the area for the suspect, and K-9s were called in. Based on their investigation police believe the suspect may have gotten into a waiting vehicle at the intersection of Route 40 and Market Street.
 
The Aberdeen Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.  He was described as a white male with light blue eyes, about 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and medium build. He was wearing all black clothing and a black ski mask at the time of the incident.
