DUNDALK, Md. — Baltimore County Police have arrested and charged a suspect in the murder of 27-year-old Gerrard Eugene Taylor.

Taylor, who was shot on March 27, was pronounced dead on March 29 after being removed from life support at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

The suspect, 40-year-old Dwayne Kenneth Taylor, of the 4100 block of Garrison Boulevard, has been charged with First Degree Murder and is currently being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Detectives determined that the victim and the suspect, who have no relation to one another, had been involved in a physical altercation on a separate occasion and the shooting was the result of that altercation.
