Baltimore County Police are investigating a stabbing that took place Wednesday night in Pikesville.
Police were called to the 4100 block of Colby Road at around 7:12 p.m. for a burglary report. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from stab wounds. The man was taken to an area hospital for treatment and police say he is expected to survive.
An initial investigation indicates that the man had been involved in an altercation with a suspect in an apartment. During the altercation, the suspect stabbed the man at least once, according to police.

This incident is being investigated by the Baltimore County Police Department Violent Crimes Unit.
