A Dundalk man has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and first- and second-degree assault in connection with an attack on a man last week.
Shane Michael Williams is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
Just before 3:30 a.m. July 6, police responded to the 3600 block of North Point Road for an urgent welfare check. When officers arrived, they found a 20-year-old man lying next to the roadway suffering from traumatic injuries.
He was taken to an area hospital, where he is still receiving treatment. His condition is unknown.
Police said Williams and the victim knew each other, but the exact cause of the assault remains unknown.
