Baltimore County Police charge a 22-year-old for a targeted Parkville shooting

PARKVILLE, Md. — Baltimore Police officers have arrested and charged a 22-year-old man for a shooting that happened Friday on Shawnee Court in Parkville.

Kai Anthony Warren Barnes, of the unit block of Shawnee Court, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and the use of a firearm in a crime of violence. After some investigating, detectives were able to determine that the shooting was targeted over an ongoing dispute.

Barnes is currently being held at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections on a denied bail status.
