PARKVILLE, Md. — Baltimore County Police are investigating a shooting that took place in an apartment complex on Shawnee Court in Parkville just after 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
Upon arrival, officers found a 23-year-old man suffering from a single gunshot wound to his upper body. He was taken to a local hospital where he is expected to survive his injuries.
Detectives are actively investigating the incident but believe the victim was targeted by the suspect.
Police do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public.
