Teen boy shot in the back in Northwest Baltimore

Police are investigating a shooting that happened Saturday afternoon in northwest Baltimore that left a 17-year-old boy injured.  

Around 1:00 p.m. police were called to an area hospital for a reported walk-in shooting victim.  

When officers arrived, they discovered a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back.  

Police said the victim in the 2700block of Gwynns Falls Parkway when he was shot.  

The teen's injury is non-life threatening.
