Police arrested a 26-year-old man for illegally possessing a handgun.
Officers say they stopped a 2009 Nissan Altima in the 2900 block of Parkwood Avenue just after 12:00 Thursday morning.
The traffic stop resulted in officers finding a 9mm handgun owned by Shane Richardson, who is prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Richardson has been charged with an array of handgun violations.
