BALTIMORE — A 43-year-old man was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the March 27 shooting death of a 39-year-old Baltimore man.

Police said at about 2:50 p.m. on March 27, Tyree Lee, of the 3800 block of Dolfield Avenue, was walking through the 4600 block of Wallington Avenue when he was approached by Lorenzo Thomas, of the 5200 block of Linden Heights Avenue, who immediately fired upon Lee.

Thomas continued to chase Lee into the 3900 block of Penhurst Avenue, where Lee was “fatally shot,” police said. Thomas was apprehended by a Warrant Task Force on April 10 when he was in the 4400 block of Garrison Boulevard.

Thomas was taken to Central Booking where he was changed and is waiting to see a court commissioner.
