Three people are behind bars, charged in connection with a stabbing in Severn on Halloween.
Shortly after 5 p.m., officers were called to Richfield Drive in Severn to investigate reports of a stabbing. Witnesses in the area identified several suspects who were seen getting into a blue Ford SUV.
Officers found the SUV, which eventually stopped in the nearby Still Meadows community. The people in the car ran, but were quickly taken into custody by police.
Investigators learned the stabbing happened after an argument inthe 1700 block of Richfield Drive. The victim was stabbed then hit by the car as it left the scene. A Glen Burnie woman was also hit by the car. Both were was taken to hospitals for treatment.
Thomas Brooks, 35, of Brooklyn has been charged with first-degree assault and a series of driving violations. A 17-year-old boy from Odenton has been charged with possession of more than 10 grams of marijuana and released to his mother.
A third person who was released without charges.
