Anne Arundel County Police have located and arrested the boyfriend of a woman who was found murdered in Pasadena on Monday.

According to officials, on early Wednesday morning, officers found 26-year-old Edgar Franklin Manning IV inside his mini-van in Odenton. They say when officers approached him, he fought with them and was immediately arrested.

To their surprise, located at the back of the mini-van laid the dead body of his girlfriend, 21-year-old Megan Ellen Burdeaux.

Fire officials pronounced her dead at the scene.

Investigators were able to determine that on Monday, Manning assaulted Burdeaux during an argument in Pasadena. They say the assault is what may have caused her death.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is scheduled to perform an autopsy on Burdeaux to determine the exact cause and manner of her death.

Manning has been charged with First and Second Degree Murder.
