Anne Arundel County Police are investigating a home invasion in Laurel that lead to the shooting of two individuals.

Police say they were called to the 8100 block of Edge Rock Way around 12:26 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found two men wounded inside the house with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations revealed two suspects knocked on the door of the residence and forced their way in.

Once inside, a struggle took place and the victims were shot.

The suspects then fled from the scene, police say.

Responding officers found the fleeing vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed with no headlights on. Officers conducted a stop and discovered the two individuals matched the description of the suspects.

Officers also seized a large amount of marijuana and money from the vehicle and suspects.

Both suspects, Jerron Berry and Dangelo Fowler, were arrested and charged with home invasion, attempted murder, assault, handgun charges and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

The shooting victims were transported to Prince George County Trauma Center where they are listed in stable condition.

Detectives say they believe this was a targeted incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Western District Detective Unit at 410-222-6155.
