One person dead, five test positive for COVID-19 at Frederick Health and Rehabilitation Center

FREDERICK, Md. — The Frederick County Health Department announced on Wednesday that six cases of COVID-19 have been reported at the Frederick Health and Rehabilitation Center.

A resident at the rehabilitation center has died from COVID-19. He was a man in his 80’s with underlying health conditions.

There were also five additional residents with positive test results, they are currently receiving treatment at the Frederick Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Ten residents have been tested in total, six were positive and four were negative. Of those six cases, three are male and three are female, with ages ranging from 71-86 years.
