PASADENA — Home Deports confirms that an associate at the Pasadena store has passed away due to COVID-19.

“We’ve lost a wonderful associate and friend, and we’re heartbroken”, said company representatives.

The associate’s last day at work was 3 weeks ago. No other associates working in this store have tested positive for COVID-19.

Home Depot says:
"Our top concern is for the safety of our associates and customers. We’re taking this very seriously and have been working with local health authorities and are taking their guidance for the safety of our associates and customers. We reached out to all of our associates at this store to inform them of our associate’s passing. We’ve offered additional paid time off to all of our hourly associates, care counselors who specialize in bereavement, and access to 24/7 clinician services for COVID-19 concerns."
