The Maryland SPCA has temporarily closed its doors to comply with the latest regulations, but their animals are being well cared for through the crisis.

All 147 animals in the shelter prior to closing are safe and happy in foster homes. The SPCA is still providing medical care, supplies, and food for the animals and is looking forward to opening adoptions when it's safe. The shelter has also partnered with Meals on Wheels to provide food and supplies to MOW recipients with pets through the Kibble Connection program.

Voicemail and email to shelter staff are still check regularly. Make sure your pets tags and microchip are up to date with current owner information so your pets can be returned easily if lost.
