The Radiology department at GBMC performs more than 142,000 procedures every year.
The department offers CT and MRI scans, ultrasounds, diagnostic x-rays, and more. Radiologists have been vital during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing images of the chest, heart, and vascular system.
November 8 marks the anniversary of the invention of the X-ray, and GBMC is celebrating its radiology department during National Rad Tech week.
