The Baltimore County Police Department loves connecting with the community through school assemblies. With most kids out of school due to the coronavirus outbreak, the department is getting creative.
Cops and Kids Story Time started as an initiative to show children what police officers looked like wearing PPE, which can be scary or intimidating. However, now officers are showing off interesting parts of the department or showing themselves at home. Many officers came together to read a bedtime story for kids who are out of school or having trouble.
