LAUREL, Md. — One firefighter was injured in Laurel on Sunday morning.
According to Howard County Fire Rescue (HCFR), firefighters arrived at the scene in the 9000 block of Garden Ranges around 9am, seeing heavy fire from the garage area reaching the first and second floors.
The blaze was put out quickly. One firefighter was injured and taken to an area hospital.
Authorities say the Red Cross was on the scene to assist residents. The cause of the fire is unknown.
