UPDATE:
According to Chief Robert McCollough of Baltimore County Police, at around 7:25pm, an armed man was experiencing a "mental health episode." Officers arrived on the scene.
Gunfire between the armed man and officers occurred.

The man was shot. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.

Baltimore County Police are on the scene of an officer-involved shooting in Dundalk. It happened in the 8200 block of N. Boundary Rd.

Authorities say there will be a large police presence in the area. There is no threat to the community at this time.
