According to a new study by Lincoln Financial Group, 95% of couples think they should plan for the future, but only 35% do. Finances can cause understandable friction in a marriage, but the goal is to get spending and saving habits into the open and plan for the future. 

Couples should speak with a financial advisor, who can help establish financial goals, set a budget, and create a long term plan. A financial advisor can also help ease stress when dealing with two different money personalities.
