Vehicle found in deadly hit and run of AAA tow truck driver

TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (WMAR) — Maryland State Police say they have found the vehicle wanted in a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a tow truck driver last week in Temple Hills.

The 2004 white Cadillac Escalade was located Sunday afternoon, at Maryland Route 3 and 175 in Gambrills in Anne Arundel County.

Police aren't yet releasing the identity of the driver.

63-year-old David Reinerio Pineda Alvarez was a contractor for AAA, and was helping a disabled vehicle, on the shoulder of Branch Avenue when he was struck and killed.

No arrests have been made.
