Hogan: COVID-19 positivity rate down more than 70% since peak

BALTIMORE — Today, Governor Larry Hogan announced that Maryland's COVID-19 positivity rate has dropped significantly.

He says the positivity rate has dropped to 8%, more than a 70% drop from its April 17 peak.

There are currently 57,482 positive coronavirus cases in our area.

Currently, total hospitalizations have fallen to 1,059.

There have been 417,904 COVID-19 tests administered, including 12,490 in the past 24 hours.
