BALTIMORE COUNTY, md. — Baltimore County Fire Department battled a two-alarm fire at Islander Inn in Edgemere.
The fire started early Thursday morning around 1:30 a.m.
Islander Inn is located in the 9000 block of Cuckold Point Road.
Officials say it appears that the fire may have started in a storage room and spread throughout the restaurant.
A firefighter sustained minor injuries.
Two people who live above the restaurant were able to escape safely but were displaced.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
