BALTIMORE — Many children will not be trick-or-treating this Halloween due to COVID-19, but there are still plenty of ways that you can safely celebrate.

Consider hosting an outdoor movie night with family or close friends. For those competitive in nature, organize a virtual pumpkin carving or spooky cookie decorating contest.

WMAR-2 News' Lauren Cook has organized a scavenger hunt for her daughter, Charlotte. She found great ideas and easy, inexpensive print outs on Etsy.com. You can even repurpose Easter eggs and fill them with Halloween treats for kids to find.

Let us know how you are celebrating Halloween this year. Tag WMAR-2 News on social media so we can share your ideas with other families.
