Baltimore Union Soccer Club is collecting food donations to help those in need this holiday season

BALTIMORE — Local athletes are teaming up to help those in need this holiday season. The Baltimore Union soccer club wants to make sure everyone has a nice meal to eat this Christmas, so they are working hard to collect food.

The team is filling baskets of food for the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Food Pantry. They are collecting cans of food and are accepting monetary donations if you would like the players to do the shopping for you. It costs approximately $20 to fill half of a basket and $40 to fill a whole basket.

Donations will be accepted through December 3. If you would like to make a contribution on behalf of the team, monetary donations can be sent to:
