ABINGDON, HARFORD COUNTY — An Abingdon girl is using her birthday to give back to the community.
Rozzalyn Burdett of Abingdon turns 11 years old today and is asking for donations to The Humane Society of Harford County in lieu of birthday gifts. She selected the shelter to honor of her dog, Neil, that recently passed away.
This is the fifth time Rozzalyn has hosted a birthday fundraiser. She has donated to local hospitals, homeless shelters and Anna's Place in years past.
