At least one wonderful thing has happened in 2020: the opening of a Dolly Parton-themed rooftop bar and restaurant.

The Nashville venue perfectly channels Dolly’s energy, complete with retro frills, bright prints and lots of pink. Even the name is Dolly-inspired. The bar is called White Limozeen, a reference that true fans will immediately recognize as the name of Dolly’s 29th solo studio album, released in 1989. (If anyone deserves an entire bar inspired by their music, it’s the country legend who has managed to release a whopping 50 studio albums in roughly as many years.)

The menu at White Limozeen, which opened in early July, encapsulates Dolly’s seamless mix of high- and low-brow. There’s caviar and tuna crudo, but you’ll also find a “millionaire’s Twinkie” and Jell-O on the dessert menu.

The cocktail menu is also exciting. It features mixed drinks with names like Queen of the Rodeo (a “gussied-up Cosmo”), Lightning Bug (sparkling martini) and Another Day In Paradise (piña colada).

Last but not least, there’s even a pink chicken-wire statue of Dolly herself. The bar, which is on the roof of the Graduate Nashville hotel, also features sparkling views of the Nashville skyline. Oh, and did we mention there’s a pool?

If you’re not lucky enough to live in Nashville, White Limozeen is definitely special enough to be worth a trip — and Nashville is Dolly’s musical home, after all! Her theme park, Dollywood, is also just a few hours away. Dolly-themed road trip and/or bachelorette party, anyone? You have plenty of time to plan your trip, because the restaurant is still operating at limited capacity due to coronavirus restrictions.

In the meantime, there are lots of other ways to celebrate your Dolly love. Listen to the song she released about the end of the pandemic, watch the Netflix show inspired by her music or shop items from her clothing line. Or, you can always just listen to her music — with 50 albums to choose from, there’s no shortage of options.
