A Baltimore-based Catholic order releases dozens of names of clergy members accused of sexually abusing children.

The Xaverian Brothers released the list late Friday. They are not part of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. They did state two current members have a credible or established offense, but none are active in ministry.

18 men on the list are dead or former brothers. 14 of the names listed had allegations that could not be fully investigated but the Brothers say there is a reasonable possibility they occurred.

The group asked for forgiveness for what they call an unspeakable violation of trust.

The Xaverian Brothers operate 13 schools in Maryland, Kentucky, New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
