Wintry Weather Possible Sunday

Over the last week models have been consistent on mid December turning active for the Mid-Atlantic. In line with this pattern - this weekend starts the "show" with a cold blast followed by the potential for a "wintry mess".

What About Snow?

Snow can't be ruled out at this point, but the forecast has better support for a wintry mix with everything from snow to rain.

**We'll continue to follow this system as it develops, especially since it could affect the Monday morning commute.**

Polar Vortex is Lurking Again

Even though this weekend is expected to be cold, there's been another trend showing the return of the Polar Vortex for next week as well, and this time Maryland could take a direct hit. Arctic temps could bring wind chills into single digit territory.
