Winter's last shot at delivering some accumulating snow will be on Tuesday and this storm is as complex as they come. This appears to be a "Millers B Type" of storm - meaning we'll have two competing areas of low pressure, leading to a mixed bag of precipitation.
The rain / snow line is always suspect with most Mid-Atlantic storms, and it's expected to be a crucial part of the snow forecast once again. A wintry mix appears to be the most likely scenario, based on model consensus, but an all snow event is still possible too. We'll know more by Sunday in terms of expected snow totals, and the whole area is already under a winter storm watch until Tuesday afternoon.
