A tale of two seasons this week with a "Spring like" start followed by a wintry finish. There's a chance of snow for Friday, Saturday night - Sunday AM and for next Tuesday. A lot of this depends on the presence of cold air, which is expected to arrive by Friday and linger into the weekend.
For the bulk of this season, models have done a poor job with long range outlooks, so the track of each of these storms is highly questionable at this time. One thing we do know, is that the overall pattern supports snow storm development around the Mid-Atlantic & East Coast this weekend. We'll continue to monitor the location of the Jet Stream this week, since the storm is expected to ride along its location.
Stay up to date as we get closer to the weekend.
