The snow storm will continue to push off to the north and east while wrapping in some very gusty north east winds. Additional snow accumulation will be possible as well as snow wraps in on the storms back side - where the colder air will push in. We are not expecting much, but the chance for snow squalls is there.
This set-up will keep our mixed bag of precip in play until the afternoon hours. Most of our high resolution models have the snow completely exiting the area around 11AM - with just snow showers lingering after that.
Beware of the Refreeze
Colder temps are expected to enter the area tonight, followed by a really cold Wednesday. This will create an opportunity for icy patches across the area.
