The third named storm of 2016 will be moving thru northern Florida tonight - Tuesday morning. It will then move off the east coast passing just southeast of Maryland, bringing higher surf and scattered showers as far north as Ocean City. The good news about this storm is that it's expected to miss most of Maryland by about 200 miles to the southeast.
Hopefully, this trend continues since we're expecting a much busier hurricane season this time around. The influence of a La-Nina transition could result in a more active hurricane season.
