The heat and humidity crept in the last week of May and jump started June. Some of you welcomed the summer-like weather, especially after a long bout with rain and cool temps through much of the end of April and most of May, but I did hear some complaints about it being too hot and that we skipped spring and went right to summer.
With that said, temps in the mid to upper 80s will be replaced by temps in the 70s starting tomorrow into the end of the week. It will feel more like spring even though highs will actually be below normal for this time of the year.
A cold front will move through tonight bringing drier, cooler, and breezy conditions in its wake. A few morning showers may pop up Wednesday morning but after that it will be smooth sailing right into the end of the week.
Memorial Day may be the unofficial start to summer but it is still spring, so enjoy!
