A powerful cold front will push into Maryland this evening, bringing the opportunity for a few strong storms. The Storm Prediction Center has placed parts of our area in a marginal risk.
Damaging winds will be the primary concern. Recent rains have left the ground very saturated. With any strong wind gust, trees and power lines could easily topple.
High pressure returns for the midweek allowing for sunny and dry weather to return. However, temperatures will be significantly cooler. Highs will only climb into the 50s and low 60s. The risk for some frost is possible late week.
