Severe weather is possible on Saturday as a warm front lifts through our area. Numerous showers and thunderstorms will be possible throughout the day, severe storms will be most likely in the afternoon and evening.
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has placed our area in a marginal risk. The greatest threats will be damaging winds and heavy rain which could lead to flash flooding. There will be some minor turning with height in the low levels supporting rotation in a few cells. A brief tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
