The Mid-Atlantic dodged one this time. A storm is brewing to the south and is forecast to pass Maryland to the east/southeast. This is a good thing considering that most of Virginia & Maryland was buried by nearly 3ft of snow.

The next system you're going to hear about will show itself next week. This storm will bring blizzard like conditions to the Northern Plains & severe weather to our southern states.

As for Maryland - look for a big time warm up next week. Temps will trend 10° - 20° above average (42°) with even a chance of thunderstorms Tuesday night into Wednesday. Be sure to enjoy the warm up if you're a fan, because winter will bounce back next Thursday.
