The un-Winter like month of February continues with more chances of severe weather for the Baltimore area. Our greatest severe weather threats include damaging winds, hail and isolated tornadoes.
Forecast confidence for this event is high based on the location of our upper level storm and cold front timing. What is uncertain is the severity and intensity of the storms. Several models have indications of decent midday sunshine. If this occurs, it'll make the atmosphere more volatile and intensify our afternoon storms.
