A beautiful weekend is already underway across Maryland, but severe weather will be possible again to kick off the week.
On Monday, we’ll be watching a disturbance move into the region bringing the chance for scattered feisty thunderstorms to fire up.
Damaging winds gusts and hail are the primary threats, although a tornado may also exist given low-level shear profiles across the region, especially near the warm front.
Right now, the greatest threat for severe weather will be across the Eastern Shore and Southern Maryland (areas shaded in yellow).
