Punxsutawney Phil was so wrong!

We are now in a drier pattern but that may only last through the beginning of next week. Another winter storm has the potential to bring snow to Maryland by mid-week.

After a brief warm up this weekend, colder temperatures will dive back in and moisture from a storm that could possibly track near the Atlantic Seaboard would set the stage for a substantial storm along the Atlantic coast.

It is too early to tell the exact track or strength of the storm which is very important when determining how much cold air will be drawn in to the storm. If this storm tracks more inland or closer to the coast then it would mean more rain than snow but if it tracks just offshore it could mean more snow for the area.

A wintry mix of sleet and freezing rain is also possible with this storm.

Remember, this forecast is still coming together so stay tuned!
