Get ready to sweat! Temperatures are rising and so is the humidity. Anytime our dew point gets into the 60s, people start to complain about the muggy air. Well, today our dew point is in the 60s and we continue to watch the number increase through the week. Make sure your car AC is working because you will need it for the rest of the week.

The moisture is also going to lead to morning fog on Wednesday, so allow yourself extra drive drive to get to work or early appointments. The stream of moisture is from an area of high pressure sitting off our coast. It has clockwise winds and thus delivers our winds out of the SE. Hello warm, Atlantic air!

The moisture turns to rainfall by Wednesday night and thunderstorms form Thursday through Saturday. Friday will be the wettest day and also has a chance of severe storms. Rainfall totals from Wednesday through Saturday will be from .75-1.75". This poses a chance for flooding, although we do need the rain. We are in a deficit for the month of about 1.5".
