A cold front is set to team up with the remnants of Cindy bringing wet weather to the region as we head through tonight into Saturday morning.
Given how much moisture is in the air, it is possible that this storm will bring a significant amount of rainfall to portions of Maryland in a short amount of time. The models are having a tough time pinpointing which area will receive the most rainfall. Flooding will be a concern, especially early Saturday morning.
While the bulk of the rain falls Saturday morning, an isolated shower or thunderstorm is still possible into the afternoon as the cold front moves through.
Good news, this storm is a very quick mover, so it won’t ruin the entire weekend. In fact, by Saturday afternoon, clouds will begin to break for sunshine as more comfortable air fills into the region. And Sunday looks to be absolutely gorgeous with sunny, dry conditions and comfortable temperatures!
