Many people come from all over the world to witness the beauty of the famous Cherry Blossoms in the Nation's Capital. Even Marylanders, mostly, think of the District when they think of Cherry Blossoms but the beautiful trees are not exclusive to DC.
Where else can you see Cherry Blossoms you ask? Howard county! Thanks to Blossoms of Hope over 1800 Kwanzan Cherry Blossom trees have been planted since 2004.
These eye-catching trees usually bloom about 2 weeks after the Cherry Blossoms in DC and they go through several stages before they are full bloom. The projected peak date for the DC Cherry Blossoms is April 3-6.
