Hurricane Harvey continues to bring relentless rain and catastrophic flooding to Texas.
Meanwhile, we are also monitoring an area of disturbed weather off the Southeast Coast. This may become our next named storm - Irma. The National Hurricane Center is currently giving the storm a 50% chance of becoming a named storm within the next 5 days. The warm gulf stream may aid in development.
Regardless of development, an onshore flow develops here in Maryland. Increases clouds, rain chances, turns breezy and cool early next week. Rough surf and increased rip current will also be a concern at area beaches.
Stay tuned!
