Well we made it back to the weekend and the weather can't get any better than this. For the first official weekend of Summer we look to see tons of sunshine and high temperatures topping out in the low to mid 80s. Humidity will also remain low making for excellent conditions to do anything outdoors.
The heat, humidity, and chances for storms return by early next week as a warm front approaches the area. The chances for storms are not all that high and look to be scattered throughout the front half of the workweek. Humidity and heat will be the bigger story here. Temperatures are likely to be at or below 90 degrees each day this week if not over that mark Thursday and Friday as high pressure sits overhead. Humidity will also be a problem since the weather pattern looks fairly static after storms move through Monday and Tuesday.
Looking ahead the next 8-14 days rounding out June into the beginning of July suggest above average temperatures with normal precipitation amounts. For now let's enjoy this awesome weekend as we embark on the first full week of Summertime in Maryland.
