The Maryland Emergency Management Agency is reporting that just over 3,000 people are without power.
The agency has a website Osprey, where you can monitor Maryland power outages.
Officials are reminding residents that outages are always a possibility with winter weather.
MEMA urges residents to stay inside and avoid driving, as crews are working to get areas back to normal.
