Beer made locally by veterans at Manor Hill Brewing Company

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. — For the first time ever, you can get a six pack of a beer made locally by a veteran.

Manor Hill Brewing Company in Howard County is open for Veteran's Day.

They're holding a release event for 'I Got Your Six'.

It’s a beer created by military veteran Brandon Miller.

"It’s an American style lager. It’s made with red wheat, white rice, and blue corn. Its hopped with three different hops. One is called independence; one is liberty and then we used a YCH veterans blend. Which is a hop blend that also gives proceeds to veteran charities."

From 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, you can stop by for a pint of 'I Got Your Six'.

A 6 pack of 'I Got Your Six' is $12 a case is $40.

You can also meet the brewers and veterans behind the beer and get some food, while supporting a cause bringing awareness to veteran suicide.

Manor Hill Brewing is Howard County’s first farm brewery.

It’s on the Marriner family's 54-acre working farm in Ellicott City.
