TOWSON, Md. — The American Legion 22 hosted a Veterans Day ceremony at Wayside Cross in Towson on Wednesday.
Speakers took time to honor our veterans, their families and those who have died fighting for us.
Veteran Thomas Kellaherr served in Vietnam and his father bill, is a World War II veteran.
He said it means everything to see the country continuously honor out veterans.
"We aren’t a militaristic country, but we have to do what we have to do for ourselves and the rest of the world. It means so much."
The American Legion is the nation’s oldest service organization
